Behind spectacular efforts from John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins – who may have been playing in Louisville for the only time in their career – UK smashed the UNC Asheville Bulldogs on Monday night in Freedom Hall.

James Pennington: Extra Louisville games unlikely

Wall had 12 points and a career-high 14 assists, the second most ever for a UK player. Cousins had 24 points and 10 rebounds despite playing limited minutes due to foul trouble.

Of course, the Bulldogs were little more than a tune-up. The real UNC comes to Lexingotn on Saturday.
